vacancy exists for a Principal Digital IC Engineer, reporting to the IC Manager. This key position is to implement and verify complex sections of UWB modem and MAC-layer hardware units in VHDL for incorporation into ASICs. This will also include input into the specification of these units and the algorithms they use, as well as selection of target IC technologies and third-party IP. Essential Skills· Extensive knowledge of implementing algorithms and complex blocks for ASIC synthesis in VHDL and ideally also Verilog.
