London Road Network (TLRN) North Area. The role will entail supporting the Tunnels Route Manager with managing highway tunnels on the A406, A12 and A40. You ae required to prepare and facilitate annual tunnels desktop emergency exercises; Plan and implement live emergency exercises in tunnels; Ensure implementation of fire risk assessment control measures in tunnels; Assist in the Project Management and overseeing of works in the Tunnels Renewals Programme; Assist in the Project Management of the Tunnels Management System pilot scheme; Oversee tunnels revenue works undertaken by the Highway Maintenance and Works Contractor (HMWC); Carry out inventory of mechanical and electrical equipment in North Area tunnels to enable accurate payment for ordered maintenance; Assist in management of routine and reactive pump maintenance within subways and highway pumping stations and assist in managing the upgrading of pumping station telemetry systems.
